There are a lot of conditions we see and problems we face in primary care which rarely appear in the literature and these will be our focus in the Hot Topics Clinics. This webinar will be a supplement to our main course and feature topics we have not presented on the main course.
Sepsis in Primary Care
Sepsis continues to be a red hot topic nationally and internationally as we all strive to raise awareness and reduce mortality. The Urgent care course covered Sepsis in detail over the last 12 months and three questions were raised again and again by delegates:
- How do I safely screen for sepsis during a telephone consultation?
- How do I safety net in sepsis and meningitis?
- What do I do if the transfer of my patient with suspected sepsis to secondary care is delayed?
In the upcoming urgent care clinic, we will present three cases to work through the latest evidence and guidance to help answer these questions, as well as a very brief synopsis of the latest NICE sepsis guidance.
You will be able to claim 1 CPD credit for this one hour webinar. This webinar originally aired on Tuesday 8th October 2019 and is now available on-demand.
