The course registration is from 8:30am and the course will run from 9:30am – 5:00pm. The Course Reference Book and your Certificate of Attendance will be handed to you at registration on the day and will also be available electronically via the NB App and NB Dashboard. You do not need to prepare for the course in advance. We would like you to turn up on the day relaxed and ready for an enjoyable educational experience.

London is 80 miles away, Portsmouth 25 miles and Winchester 13 miles.
The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Southampton Central Railway Station with links to London Waterloo in approximately 75 minutes. There is a taxi rank at the station for your convenience.
The hotel is 20 minutes drive from Southampton Airport. Trains run from Southampton Airport Parkway to Southampton Central which is then a short walk from the hotel, alternatively, taxis can be taken from the station directly to the hotel. If you wish to arrange an airport transfer with the hotel ahead of your arrival, please contact our Reservations or Concierge team.
Charges apply for parking in the hotel car park and a fee of £10 is applicable for a 5-24 hour stay in the car park. If you do park in the hotel grounds please note the following:
“Guests are responsible for inputting their car registration details into the tablets located within the hotel, these can be found at reception. If guests fail to do this, the hotel will not take responsibility for any fines received. The front of the hotel, staff car park and VIP Parking is excluded from all complimentary car parking”
In addition, there is a nearby NCP car park approximately a five-minute walk from the hotel.
Please note that any parking charges incurred on the day are not included in the course fee.
By attending the course you will earn 6 CPD credits. In each chapter we include a Quality Improvement Ideas box which provides suggestions to stimulate further continuing professional development such as audits and practice development. This additional work can be claimed as CPD credits.
For example, if you highlight improving end of life care as a major area for your PDP for the year ahead and subsequently do 7 hours work of reading the topic, looking at the resources, doing an audit, preparing a presentation, devising a new practice policy/guideline, you can claim a further 7 credits.
