The course registration is from 8:30am and the course will run from 9:30am – 5:00pm. The Course Reference Book and your Certificate of Attendance will be handed to you at registration on the day and will also be available electronically via the NB App and NB Dashboard. You do not need to prepare for the course in advance. We would like you to turn up on the day relaxed and ready for an enjoyable educational experience.

Getting to Emirates Old Trafford by public transport Metrolink It’s easy to get to Emirates Old Trafford from anywhere on the Metrolink network, with fast and frequent services on all lines. Emirates Old Trafford is just 15 minutes from Manchester city centre, the ground is adjacent to Old Trafford Metrolink stop and near to Trafford Bar. Exchange Quay and Salford Quays stops are about 20 minutes’ walk from the ground. A full range of tickets and great value travelcards are available from ticket machines at every stop – you must buy your ticket before catching the tram. Before and after matches, services will be busy so please leave extra time for your journey. After matches, trams will be running towards Manchester and Altrincham with frequent services also towards East Didsbury and Manchester Airport from the Trafford Bar stop. Bus Emirates Old Trafford is well served by buses, including frequent services from Manchester city centre. The ground is just a short walk from the bus stops on Chester Road. The following bus services run near to the cricket ground, setting down at Chester Road (with the junction of Warwick Road, a walk of approx 5 minutes), or on Talbot Road opposite the ground. Train Long distance and local train services run to Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria stations in the city centre, where passengers can connect to a Metrolink tram service. By attending the course you will earn 6 CPD credits. In each chapter we include a Quality Improvement Ideas box which provides suggestions to stimulate further continuing professional development such as audits and practice development. This additional work can be claimed as CPD credits.
For example, if you highlight improving end of life care as a major area for your PDP for the year ahead and subsequently do 7 hours work of reading the topic, looking at the resources, doing an audit, preparing a presentation, devising a new practice policy/guideline, you can claim a further 7 credits.
